Job summary

Gradian, based in Maple Grove, MN, seeks a Buyer/Senior Buyer-Planner to ensure material availability and support production schedules. You will coordinate with Sourcing, Engineering, Production, Materials, and Operations to optimize inventory and meet delivery goals.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing supply chain, strong MRP/ERP knowledge, and advanced Excel. Mentorship and leadership opportunities are available in a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in supply chain management.
• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, materials planning, or supply chain management in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of MRP, inventory, lead times, and supplier management.
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Issue, manage, and maintain purchase orders to approved suppliers.
• Develop and maintain material requirements plans based on production schedules and forecast.
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvements in delivery and quality.
• Proactively resolve material shortages and lead-time risks to minimize disruptions.
• Own planning and procurement for assigned commodities and materials.

This role works closely with Sourcing, Engineering, Production, Materials, and Operations teams to maintain optimal inventory levels, support on-time customer deliveries, and drive supplier performance.
