Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with demand forecasting, material planning, inventory management in an MRP/ERP environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP concepts, BOMs, inventory planning, and supplier management.
• Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device preferred); not required.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work fully on-site in a manufacturing setting.

Aufgaben

• Source and procure assigned materials, components, services, and capital equipment while ensuring quality, cost, delivery, and regulatory requirements.
• Own strategic supplier relationships; negotiate terms, manage KPIs, and drive corrective action when needed.
• Track backorders, fill rates, and on-time delivery; resolve shortages with suppliers to protect commitments.
• Analyze demand forecasts, historical usage, and supplier capacity to build purchasing and replenishment plans.
• Partner with Planning and Manufacturing to align material availability with production schedules.
• Balance inventory levels, lead times, and forecast variability to minimize shortages and maximize turns.
• Identify and qualify alternative suppliers or substitutes to reduce supply risk.
• Serve as procurement SME for ERP systems, maintaining master data for purchasing and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with Warehouse, Receiving, Quality, Customer Service, and Finance to resolve issues.
• Communicate shortages and recovery plans clearly to stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes and reporting.
