Job summary

Real Staffing Group is seeking a Senior Buyer for a leading medical device manufacturing site in Milpitas, CA. You will own procurement of raw materials, manage PRs/POs, RTS activities, deliveries, supplier performance, and invoice issue resolutions.

You will collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Quality and Planning to ensure on-time delivery, drive cost-saving initiatives, maintain compliance records, and support audits of purchasing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement of raw materials for production.
• Familiar with PRs/POs and RTS processes.
• Ability to analyze supplier performance and drive on-time delivery.
• Experience with FDA compliance documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of raw material for Production and NPI Products by interacting with Product Development, Engineering, Document Control and Planning while managing buyer owned interactions with Incoming Quality Assurance, Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, and RTS (Return to Supplier).
• Support Source driven Cost Savings initiatives/projects while maintaining On Time Delivery Performance.
• Develop and maintain communications with Suppliers on deliveries to maintain On Time Performance and send monthly forecast requirements.
• Pull drawing Packages for new quotes for Production and End of Life Components for assigned commodities.
• Complete and Maintain Purchasing Site Records of "Compliance Wire" actions required by FDA.
• Be accountable for RTS process while meeting target timelines.
• Support timely resolution to invoice payment issues.
• Appropriately and in a timely manner escalates raw material issues to management, Source, and through STEM process to avoid or minimize supply disruptions.
• Support audits related to purchasing area.

In this Senior Buyer role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for a leading medical device manufacturing site, overseeing all Purchasing Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), Return-to-Supplier (RTS) activities, delivery schedules, supplier on-time performance, and the timely resolution of invoice payment issues.
