Job summary

Compunetics, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a procurement professional to plan, direct, and coordinate the movement of materials to support operations. You will prepare RFQs, issue POs, source suppliers, negotiate pricing, and liaise with internal teams to optimize price, quality, and delivery.

Minimum education is a Bachelor's in SCM or Business with 3–5 years of manufacturing experience. Strong ERP knowledge and inventory control are required; experience with PCBs a plus.

Compunetics is seeking an individual to plan, direct, and coordinate the procurement, inventory, and movement of materials to support organizational operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs and Purchase Orders and submit to suppliers
• Source and develop new suppliers
• Negotiate prices
• Collaborate with approved suppliers for best price, quality and delivery
• Liaise between suppliers, customers and internal account management, planning and production
• Coordinate semi-annual uniform orders
• Maintain departmental work instructions
• Maintain daily inventory daily cycle counts
• Supervise and oversee the Shipping/Receiving Department

Requirements

• Bachelor - Supply Chain Management or Business
• 3-5 years experience purchasing/supply chain management at a manufacturing facility
• Industrial materials, chemicals, laminates and other raw material procurement experience preferred
• Printed Circuit Board experience a plus
• Understanding of ERP, planning, expediting and inventory control processes in a production environment

Solid Interpersonal, Communication, And Multi-tasking Skills Required

• Some supervision or team leadership experience desired
