Job summary

Compunetics, Inc. in Monroeville, PA is seeking an organized procurement professional to plan, direct, and coordinate the movement of materials across the supply chain.

You will RFQ, source new suppliers, negotiate prices, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure best price, quality, and delivery while maintaining inventory controls and ERP processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Business.
• 3–5 years purchasing/Supply Chain Management experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Experience with industrial materials, chemicals, laminates, or other raw materials preferred.
• PCB experience a plus.
• Understanding of ERP, planning, expediting, and inventory control in a production environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Some supervision or team leadership experience is desired.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFQs and Purchase Orders and submit to suppliers.
• Source and develop new suppliers.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers.
• Collaborate with approved suppliers for best price, quality and delivery.
• Liaise between suppliers, customers and internal account management, Planning and Production.
• Coordinate semi-annual uniform orders.
• Maintain departmental work instructions.
• Maintain daily inventory daily cycle counts.
• Supervise and oversee the Shipping/Receiving Department.

Requirements

• Bachelor - Supply Chain Management or Business
• 3-5 years purchasing/Supply Chain Management at a manufacturing facility
• Industrial materials, chemicals, laminates and other raw material procurement experience preferred
• Printed circuit board experience a plus
• Understanding of ERP, planning, expediting and inventory control processes in a production environment
• Solid Interpersonal, communication, and multi-tasking skills required
• Some supervision or team leadership experience desired
