Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent; MBA preferred.
• APICS/ISM certifications highly preferred.
• 7+ years in supply chain operations with cross-functional teams.
• At least 2 years as a buyer/planner; sourcing/negotiation experience.
• Experience managing direct spend and year-over-year savings.
• Lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong technical and analytical skills; detail oriented.
• Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Select and manage suppliers; set annual improvement objectives.
• Negotiate price and contracts to achieve lowest in place cost.
• Develop supply chain programs to improve turns and reduce stock-outs.
• Prepare commodity strategies and supplier agreements; lead projects.
• Maintain preferred supplier lists; categorize suppliers as Grow/Maintain/Rationalize.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, Operations on projects.
• Monitor supplier quality, service, cost; ensure safety and integrity.
