Job summary

Paleovalley & Wild Pastures is seeking a Senior Buyer for our Mesa manufacturing operation. This on-site role, open to a hybrid arrangement, owns end-to-end purchasing of materials and packaging, ensures timely, quality supply, and drives inventory accuracy to support scalable production.

You will collaborate across Production, Quality, and Planning, negotiate terms, manage suppliers, and continuously improve purchasing processes to reduce costs and optimize lead times.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in purchasing, procurement, or materials planning in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience with Acumatica ERP and Logiwa WMS.
• Strong supplier relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of inventory control, demand planning, and cycle counting.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end purchasing for raw materials, ingredients, and packaging.
• Manage supplier relationships and performance.
• Negotiate pricing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Create and manage purchase orders in Acumatica.
• Monitor inventory, lead times, and open orders.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and Food Safety, Planning teams.
• Resolve supply disruptions and qualify alternate suppliers.
• Lead cycle counts and physical inventories in Acumatica and Logiwa.
• Improve purchasing and inventory processes as the operation scales.
• Track KPIs like on-time delivery and cost variance.
