Weasler Engineering Inc. is seeking a Senior Buyer to execute and improve standard procurement processes across a global supply chain. You will manage supplier relations, transportation, and inventory to meet customer expectations and drive on-time delivery.

The role requires a proactive, high-energy professional with strong analytical and communication skills, capable of working with ERP/MRP systems and cross-functional teams across international suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in relevant discipline. Experience in lieu of bachelor's degree may be considered.
• 5+ years' experience in relevant roles.
• Proficient with the use of Excel spreadsheets, other Microsoft Office products, and working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
• Schedule flexibility that allows for communication with an international supply base in Europe and China.

Responsibilities

• Execution of tactical buying processes to manage a global supply chain with 60% LCC content.
• Communicate with suppliers, manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to ensure effective execution of the manufacturing plan.
• Explore new materials, suppliers, and processes to improve quality, reliability, prices, continuity, and delivery.
• Support crisis management, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Facilitate regular supplier status reviews to determine PO status, outages, and obstacles.
