Job summary

NEOTech in Fairfield, NJ is seeking a Senior Buyer to lead procurement of electronic components for EMS projects. This onsite role requires strong sourcing, supplier management, and an ability to drive costs down while ensuring material availability.

You will partner with program management, engineering, and operations, using ERP/MRP tools and advanced Excel to analyze data, negotiate favorable terms, and maintain ISO/IPC quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in strategic procurement, electronics preferred.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and quoting software.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with suppliers to ensure cost, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Identify and negotiate best terms for materials and components.
• Monitor market trends and drive cost savings in EMS.
• Coordinate with program management, engineering, and operations.
• Maintain supplier performance records and ISO/IPC compliance.
• Support JIT/Kanban and minimize inventory.
• Ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
