Comlux America in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Buyer to independently manage procurement for MRO, aircraft completion, and production. You will handle supplier relationships, issue PO's, and coordinate with Engineering and Planning to keep schedules.

The role emphasizes negotiating terms, tracking delivery, and driving cost savings while ensuring quality. Strong analytical, communication, and ERP skills are essential; prior aerospace experience is preferred.

Competenze

• 3+ years of progressive purchasing or procurement experience.
• Experience in aerospace, aviation, MRO, manufacturing, or a technically complex environment preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Experience with ERP, purchasing, inventory, or supply-chain management systems.

• Review purchasing requirements and place purchase orders in accordance with priorities and procedures.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor delivery, quality, pricing, and service.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery commitments, payment terms, and other routine terms.
• Coordinate cross-functional resolution of material and supplier issues.
• Identify cost savings, lead-time reductions, and improvements in procurement processes.
• Document and report purchasing savings, supplier performance, and major cost escalations.
