Base pay range

$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr

Senior Buyer

100% onsite

$90,000 – $110,000

We are seeking a Senior Buyer with 6+ years in manufacturing, leading strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and cost management initiatives in a fully onsite role.

Must Haves / Mandatory:

• 6+ years of purchasing experience in manufacturing.
• Success in leading supplier negotiations / manage complex supplier relationships.
• Background in cost analysis, contract management, and long-term sourcing strategies.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills for data-driven decision-making.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive procurement initiatives independently.

Nice to Have / Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field.
• Experience with domestic and international sourcing & supplier management.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, APQP, or Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Experience in strategic sourcing, cost reduction, and supplier performance management.
• Understanding of procurement processes, contract terms, and compliance standards.
• Analyze market trends and supplier capabilities to drive purchasing decisions.
• Skilled in cross-functional collaboration with engineering, finance, and operations teams.
• Has experience handling a variety of diverse commodities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align purchasing strategies with production and quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
• Analyze purchasing data and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
