Job Title: Talent Acquisition Strategist | Passionate about Connecting Talent with Opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate purchasing materials, services, and product requirements for programs, working with program leads to identify long lead materials.
- Collaborate with sourcing and program teams to select suppliers for bidding and awarding, ensuring alignment with program objectives.
- Prepare purchase orders using Coupa and Costpoint software.
- Ensure supplier documentation, including terms, conditions, and NDAs, are ready prior to engagement.
- Manage orders with suppliers, monitor backlog and daily order status, adjust schedules, and handle overdue shipments and open orders.
- Coordinate with logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries to production sites.
- Ensure compliance with requirements for purchasing, storage, and transportation of materials.
- Monitor supplier performance and prepare relevant reports.
- Resolve discrepancies related to purchasing, delivery, receiving, invoices, and payments.
- Expedite materials to manage shortages.
- Coordinate returns for discrepant materials following receiving inspections.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of tactical purchasing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Preferred experience with aerospace defense industry products.
- Certifications such as APICS, CPM, CSCP or equivalent.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Effective in cross-functional teamwork and independent work.
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proven negotiation skills with results.
