Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Senior Buyer for a hybrid role across Raleigh/Charlotte or Phoenix. You will oversee the procurement helpdesk, respond to internal inquiries, process orders under contracts, and drive process improvements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years in Purchasing or a High School Diploma with 8 years in Purchasing; experience with Coupa and strong analytical and customer service skills are preferred. Hybrid work with office presence is expected.

• Analyze recurring issues and recommend process improvements.
• Create purchase requisition /PO changes for new contracts/amendments.
• Provide support for warehouse replenishment orders and physical inventory audits.
• Support software orders.

Overview

This is a hybrid role (Raleigh, NC, Charlotte, NC, or Phoenix, AZ), with the expectation that time working will regularly take place inside and outside of a company office.

The Senior Buyer oversees the procurement operations helpdesk, answers procurement-related inquiries from internal associates and suppliers. This role is responsible for managing service requests, providing system training, executing orders with suppliers under existing contracts, and resolving procurement process issues following the company's procurement standards and procedures.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
