Job summary

Jobtailor in Chicago is seeking an experienced IT Analyst to gather and analyze business requirements, design and integrate business systems, and guide team members through processes. Responsibilities include solving complex integration challenges, designing interfaces and data specs, and producing technical reports that summarize trends and information for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree requirement plus two years of IT experience
• Three years of post-secondary study plus three years of IT experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
• One year of IT work experience using Power BI, ECMS, and THOR or Webservice, Angular, and Oracle
• Travel to various locations within the U.S. required per business needs
• Travel not to exceed 5% per year
• International travel not required

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements
• Design, develop, configure, customize, and integrate business systems
• Coordinate lower-level team members and guide them through processes
• Document current processes and develop solutions
• Conduct gap analysis, impact analysis, and risk analysis
• Clarify requirements and design solutions meeting business needs
• Assist in defect research and resolution
• Design system interfaces, screen specifications, and data requirements
• Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
• Elicit, analyze, validate, and document requirements throughout the software development lifecycle
• Study system capabilities, create workflow charts, write specifications, and design modifications
• Provide technical expertise for complex application integration and interpretation issues
• Design software application configurations according to requirements and change management processes
