Job summary

Motion Recruitment seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to bridge business stakeholders and technology teams in the insurance domain. You will translate underwriting, policy administration, risk and compliance needs into actionable technology solutions and lead discovery sessions to align priorities across squads.

This role combines business analysis with hands-on collaboration in an Agile environment, owning requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing while shaping products

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Experience in the insurance industry and with policy administration.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to write and analyze SQL queries and support UAT.
• Experience translating business objectives into functional specs for Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and drive stakeholder alignment across business and technology.
• Translate underwriting and policy administration needs into actionable tech solutions.
• Own requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for Agile delivery.
• Support testing, validation, and UAT to ensure quality deliverables.
