Job summary

Mission Underwriters is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to drive design and implementation of technology platforms aligned with current needs and future capabilities. You will work with vendors and cross-functional teams to shape analytics, BI, and process improvements across underwriting and distribution.

You will analyze requirements, develop insights, and establish standards, while maintaining stakeholder relationships and delivering on project plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field or 5+ years in financial services/insurance analytics.
• 4+ years of Insurance Company, MGA or TPA experience preferred.
• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience required.
• Experience in requirements gathering, design, and documentation for prioritization.
• Knowledge of business intelligence capabilities and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and determine appropriate tools and approaches.
• Analyze data and develop insights to drive strategy and decision-making.
• Collaborate to establish standards, framework, and best practices for delivery of technology applications and products.
• Define repeatable, scalable processes for collection, design, and prioritization of work.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders to identify trends and opportunities.
• Stay current with leading technology products and techniques.
• Develop knowledge of key business processes to act as a trusted advisor.
• Develop and design testing protocols and conduct testing of deployments.
• Create and maintain business process documentation and requirements.
• Manage and execute projects with timelines and deliverables.
• Deliver presentations to stakeholders on progress and findings.
