Job summary

Exzeo Senior Business Systems Analyst role involves partnering with stakeholders to identify solutions for complex business challenges and ensuring alignment between product strategy and corporate objectives. You own initiatives from discovery through implementation and post-release support, becoming a subject matter expert in assigned products and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear, concise oral and written communication with both business and technical teams.
• Demonstrated ability to independently lead software initiatives from discovery and requirements gathering through implementation and post-production support.
• Ability to develop a deep understanding of assigned products, business processes, system capabilities, and related documentation, including product manuals.
• Self-driven, and able to work independently, including ability to deliver on projects with incomplete data.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous and rapidly changing environment.
• Independent project leadership experience preferred.
• Property & Casualty Insurance experience.
• Experience with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodologies and documentation.
• Familiar with Agile software development.
• Jira and Confluence (or equivalent) experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead alignment of product strategy with corporate strategy with Director of Product Solutions.
• Lead design and implementation of complex software projects and improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and developers to define and implement software projects.
• Be passionate about the user experience and gather requirements; evaluate alternatives.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems and processes.
• Facilitate and assist in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Lead meetings, document notes, and ensure follow-up of actions.
• Prioritize development efforts based on business needs with the Director of Product Solutions.
• Coordinate with development and QA to meet project schedules.
• Investigate and resolve production support incidents; perform demos to customers.
