Job summary

BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina seeks a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join Agile teams in Columbia. You’ll participate in daily stand-ups, document user stories with Jira/Confluence, and help deliver cloud-based analytics solutions that meet customer objectives.

Requires 6+ years IT business analysis, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong communication to translate business needs into technical designs. On-site in Columbia with possible remote interviews.

Qualifications

• 6 years of IT business analysis experience.
• Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field; or 4 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document user requirements to meet a business objective.
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert for one or more lines of business.
• Mentor less experienced business analysts and guide cross-functional teams.
• Ensure understanding of why the business solution was chosen and help develop systems.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer about the big picture direction of business units.
