We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to plan, design, and participate in development and launch of efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree in the field of business administration, computer science, accounting, or management information systems and/or several years related work experience.
• Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
• Demonstrated project management skills; PMP certification is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and communicate the organization’s business goals and objectives.
• Ability to create systematic and consistent requirements specifications in both technical and user-friendly language.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; and skills with PC software applications needed to complete and communicate software design specifications.

Responsibilities

• Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to determine project scope, objectives, and vision; ensuring technical feasibility, document and communicate changes, enhancements, and modifications, so that issues and solutions are understood.
• Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow.
• Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications; maintaining detailed project plans to track progress.
• Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project lifecycle; enforce and redefine as necessary.
• Provide orientation and training to those responsible for implementing all modified and new systems.
• Create systems models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to system programmers.
• Develop and utilize standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications.
• Work with Quality Assurance to design test cases to verify proper functioning of designed projects, and to ensure proper testing and acceptance of developed applications.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
