Murphy-Hoffman Company, LLC, North America’s largest Kenworth truck dealership group, invites applications for a Senior Accountant to support the preparation and distribution of financial statements and reports. This role leads projects, collaborates across departments, and reviews staff work, with an in-office requirement five days a week in Leawood, KS.

Responsibilities include closing duties, journal entries, GL analysis, variance reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of GAAP principles and proper financial reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to analyze data.

Responsabilités

• Assist in closing and reporting functions, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and variances.
• Research accounting rules and document policies.
• Develop and document internal controls and process improvements.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting and depreciation.
