PTR Global in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Business Technology Analyst for a 12-month engagement, hybrid work, with pay range $75–$80 per hour. The role leads analysis, planning, testing, and delivery of complex technology initiatives that align with business objectives.

You will bridge business stakeholders and technology partners, own requirements, drive testing, mentor junior analysts, and ensure solutions meet regulatory and security requirements in a fast-paced, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of business or systems analysis experience.
• Experience in regulated industries preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or CS.

Responsibilities

• Lead analysis for complex projects, defining scope and requirements.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Coordinate testing, plan defects, and manage UAT.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops.
• Maintain vendor and partner relationships; assess risks and dependencies.
• Support deployment planning and post-production stabilization.

Title: Senior Business Technology Analyst
Duration: 12 Months With possible extension or conversion

Job Description:

High Level Project Overview:

• The Senior Business Technology Analyst leads the analysis, planning, testing, and delivery of complex technology initiatives that support business and operational objectives.
• This position serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, project teams, technology partners, and vendors to ensure solutions are delivered effectively and align with business needs.
• The Senior BTA independently manages multiple initiatives, drives requirements and testing activities, facilitates stakeholder engagement, and mentors junior analysts. The role is accountable for day-to-day project execution and successful solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead business analysis activities for complex projects, enhancements, and operational initiatives.
• Elicit, document, analyze, and validate business and system requirements.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and related project artifacts.
• Coordinate and lead testing activities, including test planning, execution, defect management, and user acceptance testing.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to support project objectives.
• Manage relationships with business partners, technology teams, and third-party vendors.
• Identify, assess, and communicate project risks, issues, dependencies, and recommendations.
• Support implementation planning, production deployments, and post-production stabilization activities.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior analysts and team members.
• Ensure solutions comply with applicable business, operational, security, and regulatory requirements.
