Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the Commodities Product Team. Hybrid role with collaboration across business, IT, and vendors to drive requirements, design, and delivery while ensuring SOX compliance.

You will facilitate workshops, map current and future processes, and produce detailed documentation. A strong background in IT product development and enterprise systems is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or related role.
• Experience with IT product model and Agile delivery environment.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance in IT environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise-level applications and system implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering workshops for large, complex projects.
• Document business processes, current/future states, and gaps.
• Create and maintain BRDs, use cases, process flows, test cases, and related docs.
• Collaborate with business partners, IT teams, and vendors to deliver solutions.
• Support SOX control execution and evidence gathering in projects.
• Assist with implementation and ongoing maintenance of new systems.

About the role: Our client's IT Energy Operations, Strategy, and Construction team is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to support the Commodities Product Team. You will work with business partners, IT teams, and external service providers to support existing systems, lead new technology initiatives, and drive process improvements. You will help translate our needs into technology solutions while ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and supporting Agile-based product delivery. This is a 1-year hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and lead requirements gathering workshops for large and complex projects.
• Analyze, document, and evaluate business processes, systems, challenges, and operational needs.
• Conduct current-state (as-is), future-state (to-be), and gap analyses.
• Elicit, define, and document business requirements using structured methodologies.
• Create and maintain business requirements documents, use cases, process flows, test cases, and related project documentation.
• Support design-thinking exercises and collaborative solution development efforts.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors.
• Provide project status updates and communicate technical and business solutions to leadership and stakeholders.
• Support implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing applications.
• Assist with troubleshooting, system maintenance, and ongoing application support.
• Evaluate current technology capabilities and recommend improvements and automation opportunities.
• Collaborate within Agile product teams and contribute to product delivery activities.
• Perform Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance control execution and evidence gathering activities.
• Act as a trusted advisor to business partners regarding technology and process solutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Technology Analyst, or related role.
• Bachelor's Degree in:
