Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Financial Analyst-Level 1 on a 1-year contract (W-2) through WECTEC Staffing Services. You will perform clerical and financial support tasks, create Purchase Orders for Renewable projects, and report to the onsite Manager.

Intermediate Excel skills are required, including PivotTables, PivotCharts, Data Validation, and lookup functions (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP). You will assist with records, month-end close, budget/variance tracking, and SOX compliance.

Qualifications

• High School/GED or 2+ years of experience and supervisory exposure.
• Intermediate Excel with PivotTables, PivotCharts and Data Validation.
• Lookup functions: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP; conditional formatting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records and data retrieval/compilation.
• Prepare financial reporting: budget, variance, cost tracking.
• Month-end close and ensure SOX compliance.
• Possible limited accounts payable and inventory tasks.

About the role:

We're looking for a Financial Analyst-Level 1 on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will perform a wide range of clerical and administrative assistance functions. You will be creating Purchase Orders for Renewable projects. You have Intermediate Level Excel experience. You will report to the onsite Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintenance of records, data retrieval/compilation, financial reporting (budget/variance/cost tracking), month-end close, and ensuring that all transactions are in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
• May perform some limited accounts payable activities.
• May perform some limited accounts payable activities, some limited inventory activities or indicator tracking.
• May include other misc. duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School/GED or 2 or more years of experience and relevant supervisory experience required, if applicable.
• Must have Excel experience Intermediate Level : (Data Analysis) Data Tools: Creating and formatting PivotTables, PivotCharts, and Data Validation. Functions: VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, IF statements, SUMIF, COUNTIF. Formatting: Conditional formatting (highlighting cells based on rules).
