Your Role
The Senior Business Systems Analyst is responsible for helping the organization achieve its goals by leading and contributing to the following areas:
- Business Process Efficiency: Understand the current business environment, situation, and challenges. Work with all levels of the organization to understand issues and constraints. Develop solutions to overcome these challenges. Enable the organization to extract maximum efficiency from the existing ERP system, train users, solve complex problems beyond the scope of the IT Helpdesk, and document best practices. Lead or participate in project teams to implement ERP systems within newly acquired entities. This role requires analytical thinking and advanced problem-solving skills to work with stakeholders, breaking down complex business challenges into actionable solutions that drive results. Function as a subject matter expert and share expertise with colleagues and customers.
- ERP Strategic Roadmap: Identify opportunities for improvement, stay informed about internal and external changes, and leverage this knowledge to help set a strategic ERP roadmap. Participate in future ERP upgrade projects, including project management leadership. Manage the product vision, roadmap, and prioritization of features based on business needs, technology trends, and industry standards. Document vision, requirements, and functional designs for system improvements. Research solutions, develop concepts, and implement optimized end-to-end processes based on best practices.
- Business Intelligence: Collaborate with business teams to develop reports that monitor performance. Administer the Incorta BI platform, work with complex SQL data tables, and design business insights for the organization.
Education and Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SQL, Business Intelligence, ERP systems, and Project Management.
- BA/BS, MS in a technology-related or business field preferred.
- Experience managing IFS implementation projects, leading complex projects, and translating business requests into clear requirements.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise processes (e.g., quote to cash) in major ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or IFS; experience in global manufacturing is preferred.
- Experience with Business Intelligence platforms (PowerBI, Incorta, Tableau, data lakes), working with SQL, and report creation.
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, social intelligence, curiosity, problem-solving ability, and passion for understanding business objectives and processes.
