Senior Business Systems Analyst

Our client, a leading asset investment firm in Boston, MA, is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst with expertise in Workday. This hybrid role (three days on-site per week) involves analyzing, configuring, and optimizing Workday solutions to support finance and business operations. The ideal candidate will gather requirements, implement system enhancements, perform testing, and ensure Workday configurations align with business strategies. This role requires collaboration across teams to deliver technology-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and enhance technology solutions to align with business objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Lead user acceptance testing, training, and documentation.
• Build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
• Manage production support while driving system enhancements.
• Oversee Workday system updates, releases, and testing.

Requirements:

• Expertise in Workday Financials, integrations, and XML transformations.
• Strong SQL skills; experience in financial reporting and analytics is a plus.
• Knowledge of corporate functions (HR, Finance, Compliance, Tax, Legal).
• Experience with cloud computing, databases, and application integration.
• Business analysis, prototyping, testing, and user training experience.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, or Business.
• 3+ years of relevant experience; consulting and Workday certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated, able to manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
