Mercor, a leading AI platform, is seeking a senior business and sales operations domain expert to work with a top AI lab's research and program management teams, shaping how frontier models reason about real business operations.

This is a full-time W-2 role with potential placement at the lab, based in the Bay Area, hybrid on-site several days per week. Strong domain depth, 4+ years, MBA preferred, and proven ownership of revenue or sales operations are required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of ownership of a business, revenue, or sales operations function.
• Senior-level progression with real ownership of a function, budget, or team.
• Genuine domain depth in sales operations, revenue operations, CRM, or related areas.
• Bachelor's degree; MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• QA and review the quality of business and sales operations knowledge work tasks and model outputs.
• Write instruction specs and golden solutions for operations problems and define new tasks reflecting real work.
• Design benchmarks and evaluation sets; build domain-specific skills with the research team.
• Calibrate standards with client researchers to translate tacit judgment into explicit criteria.
