Job summary

Chase is seeking a Senior Business Relationship Manager in its Business Banking division to deepen relationships with large, profitable business clients and provide financial guidance with a high-touch, risk-aware approach.

The role focuses on deposit acquisition, product deepening, client retention, and referrals to grow primary bank share, including collaboration with branches and other specialist teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services; knowledge of business credit underwriting.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate clients' issues, own problems on clients' behalf, and follow through with commitments.
• Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills with individuals at all levels; ability to influence and use technology to interact with clients.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Self-directed, proactive, and creative; uses sound judgment and navigates ambiguity.
• Balance needs of clients with associated risks and interests of the firm.

Responsibilities

• Manage, retain and deepen a portfolio of ~80-100 business clients with annual revenue >$5M; provide deposits, cash management and credit up to ~$15M.
• Deliver an outstanding experience by tailoring Chase business banking solutions to client needs.
• Identify and promote solutions using knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit and risk; leverage referrals.
• Regularly conduct in-person/virtual calls with clients and centers of influence to cultivate long-term relationships.
• Understand owners' personal goals; partner with Branch, Wealth Management and Private Bank for personal solutions.
• Onboard clients with treasury products and ensure end-to-end delivery; follow up for additional solutions.
• Protect the firm by following risk management protocols and regulatory requirements.
