Job summary

The Advocate Health National Center for Clinical Trials (NCCT) is seeking a Sr Business Process Analyst to translate strategic business objectives into detailed processes, requirements, and solution specifications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure end-to-end traceability and successful implementation of technology-driven transformations.

This fully remote role in the United States involves minor travel to corporate offices for user group meetings and reports to the VP

Qualifications

• Analyze current-state workflows and pain points across NCCT and research.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder interviews.
• Develop future-state process models using tech, data, and AI.
• Document processes with standard methodologies.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ensure designs align with objectives and strategy.
• Elicit and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate needs into actionable requirements for teams.
• Create user stories, rules, flows, and acceptance criteria.
• Define Definition of Done and success criteria.
• Manage requirements throughout lifecycle and prioritization.
• Create workflow diagrams and operating models.
• Define rules, exceptions, dependencies.
• Partner with PMs and tech to design tech-enabled solutions.
• Validate solutions meet needs.
• Support reviews through a business process lens.
• Define data requirements and data flows.
• Document source-to-target mappings and integration needs.
• Collaborate with informatics, engineering, and platform teams to ensure data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Business Process Analysis & Design: Analyze current-state workflows, operational processes, and pain points across NCCT and research.
• Requirements Elicitation & Documentation: Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, non-functional, and operational requirements.
• Workflow & Solution Design: Create detailed workflow diagrams, decision trees, and operating models.
• Data & Integration Analysis: Define business data requirements and data flows, document mappings and integration needs.
