Job summary

Univest is seeking a Lead Business Process Analyst to lead a team of Business Analysts and own the quality of process design and requirements across initiatives. The role focuses on business process leadership, stakeholder facilitation, and delivery readiness, not pure data analysis.

You will coach analysts, set standards, and ensure traceability from discovery through delivery while partnering with sponsors, Product Owners, and Technology teams to align objectives and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of progressive experience in business analysis, business process design, and requirements leadership.
• Experience leading a team of Business Analysts or comparable delivery professionals.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day oversight, prioritization, workload coordination, and quality review for a team of Business Analysts.
• Set and reinforce BA standards, templates, signoff requirements, and lifecycle gates.
• Lead structured discovery to gather, document, validate, and prioritize requirements.
• Own backlog readiness and refinement, keeping unclear scope out of development.
• Review BA deliverables for clarity, traceability, and alignment to outcomes before development.
• Partner with sponsors, Product/Platform Owners, PMs, Tech teams, and vendors to resolve ambiguity.
• Ensure requirements, decisions, risks, dependencies, and changes are documented and traceable.
• Lead stakeholder conversations and coach analysts on facilitation and delivery ownership.
