Job summary

Hive Group, a HUBZone-certified SDVOSB and award-winning contractor, seeks a Senior Business Process Analyst (SME II) to provide governance and strategic support to TSA's Business Capabilities Branch. This role focuses on improving vetting, credentialing, screening, and trusted traveler programs.

You will translate complex operational needs into actionable IT requirements, lead BRPP, and collaborate with TSA leaders and IT teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 12+ years in business analysis or IT planning.
• Senior-level SME across complex business capabilities, requirements engineering, and IT delivery in enterprise or federal environments.
• Proven track record in stakeholder engagement, program support, automated reporting, and technical documentation.
• Hands-on experience with IBM EWM or similar government workflow systems.
• Able to pass TSA security suitability and annual training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize the BRPP to ensure agency requirements are evaluated, documented, prioritized, and aligned with TSA leadership.
• Coordinate, track, and shepherd capabilities through federal lifecycle gates (Funnel, Active, Pipeline, Backlog).
• Maintain data integrity and artifact quality in IBM EWM; develop automated extracts, data quality reviews, and dashboards.
• Conduct structured quarterly outreach to senior leadership to map dependencies, resolve issues, and mitigate risk.
• Collaborate with project teams to author and validate business, functional, operational, and data requirements for Vetting & Credentialing Services.
• Package requirements and build strategic decision materials to enable rapid IT development.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability and manage change control logs; facilitate backlog grooming and approvals.
• Diagnose friction points and deliver data-driven BPR recommendations.
• Design stakeholder readiness blueprints and post-implementation value assessments.
• Author complex written deliverables for government and contractor audiences.
