Job summary

City View Post Acute seeks an experienced Business Office Manager to lead billing, collections, and financial operations in our San Francisco SNF. You will oversee daily office activities, manage Medi-Cal/Medicaid authorizations, and supervise the business office team.

You will also handle resident trust accounts, assist with Medi-Cal applications, track redeterminations, prepare TARs, and ensure accurate, timely billing to residents and payers.

Qualifications

• Previous SNF experience is required and leadership in a healthcare office is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Medi-Cal/Medicaid, managed care, SNF billing, authorizations, and resident trust accounts.
• Experience supervising business office staff and maintaining confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day business office operations and ensure procedures are followed.
• Manage Medi-Cal/Medicaid authorizations, including bed-hold authorizations.
• Assist with resident trust fund management and monthly statements.
• Supervise, train, schedule, and support business office staff.
• Maintain census information and assist residents with Medi-Cal applications.
• Track medicaid redeterminations and ensure documentation is completed timely.
• Prepare TARs and support billing, deposits, and collections.
• Ensure accurate and timely billing to residents, insurers, and government payers.
• Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on denials and unpaid accounts.
