Job summary

Fragomen is seeking a Business Immigration Associate to join a team dedicated to immigration law excellence. You will work with a diverse group of professionals, develop strategic case plans, and counsel clients through non-immigrant and immigrant processes. The role emphasizes collaboration, client service, and precise data handling in a hybrid office environment.

Qualified candidates hold a U.S. JD or LLM, bar admission, and 2–3 years of Associate experience, with strong English communication

Qualifications

• U.S. JD or LL.M. required.
• Bar admission in a US state or Washington DC.
• 2–3 years of Associate-level experience.
• Strong understanding of immigration law.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (proofreading, fluent prose).

Responsibilities

• Develop case strategies, including researching, drafting, reviewing, counseling clients and triaging initiations.
• Regularly communicate with clients and foreign nationals regarding procedural and case processing issues.
• Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.
• Assess eligibility of corporate foreign national employees for non-immigrant and immigrant visa status.
• Prepare petitions and applications for submission to government agencies.
