Senior Business & Financial AnalystCertification: Certified Government Financial ManagerRemote opportunity with easy access to Washington, DCNIS is seeking a Senior Business and Financial Analyst to support our government customers. The analyst will provide business and financial management process analysis to describe and create defined business and operations controls and processes.The successful candidate should possess the following attributes:- Detail-oriented mindset and proficiency in researching and analyzing information.

- Possess a flexible personality, self-motivated, and willing to multi-task and take on increasing responsibilities within the organization.
- Ability to independently establish and manage priorities for fulfilling work assigned.
Tasks to be performed include:- Planning, requirements analysis, and design, troubleshooting, integration training, and documentation for the REGIS and SAPS applications, including COTS and related tools.
- Conduct requirements analysis and provide recommendations for approved enhancements, including evaluating emerging technologies
- Develop test plans and conduct testing
- Provide documentation updates - including reports, processes, and manuals
- Review training documentation and execute training as needed
- Manage user change requests
- Provide product and technical expertise to support FAA resources in developing solutions
- Provide helpdesk support as needed
- Establish and maintain a knowledge base
Other duties include:- Provide general project management and organizational operations support.
- Prepare for and participate in meetings, including recurring tactical and strategic meetings.
- Record and distribute meeting minutes and required action item follow-up.
- Provide meeting facilitation support to management teams or sub-teams.
- Produce communications materials such as stakeholder messaging and executive communications.
- Provide reviews for quality assurance for artifacts before reviews by the Government.
- Support strategic and business planning and management processes such as staffing, succession planning, or as-needed business management and program control requirements.
- Develop briefings to executives and other internal/external stakeholders, including presentation agendas, outlines, and talking points to support these engagements or events.
Required Skills and Experience:- 15 Years of relevant experience
- Background in Government financial management business processes and reporting systems.
- A BA/BS is required with a major in one of the following fields: accounting, business, finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, or organization and management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience with project planning, developing standard operating procedures, and process improvement.
- Experience facilitating meetings with varying numbers of participants.
- Ability to satisfy FAA resume approval processes.
- U.S. citizenship requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Required Technical /Business Tools Experience:- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite - PowerPoint, Word, Visio, and Excel.
Preferred Technical /Business Tools Experience:- FAA Regional Information System (REGIS)
- FAA Staffing and Payroll (SAPS)
- FAA Knowledge Services Network (KSN)
