Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Client Service Associate to drive growth across new and existing client accounts in the financial consulting space. You will collaborate with senior sales and research teams to engage senior decision-makers at investment management firms, PE funds, hedge funds, and consulting groups.

This fast-paced role suits a self-starter who enjoys building relationships and has a track record in business development and client-facing roles within finance or consulting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record.
  • 1-3 years of business development, sales, client-facing, or relationship management experience.
  • Experience selling into financial services, professional services, research, information services, or consulting environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build credibility and establish relationships with senior professionals.
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently in a high-growth environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Competitive, goal-oriented, and motivated by performance-based success.

  • Generate new business opportunities through outbound outreach and prospecting initiatives.
  • Identify, engage, and qualify prospective clients across investment, consulting, and corporate sectors.
