Job summary

Tris Pharma, Inc. in Monmouth Junction, NJ, is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development to evaluate acquisition, in-licensing and out-licensing opportunities across buy-side and sell-side projects.

The role requires strategic, commercial, scientific, and financial assessment, plus due diligence and negotiation skills. The candidate will present findings to executives and collaborate with cross-functional teams across Regulatory, Clinical, and Commercial groups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a business or scientific discipline; MBA, MD or life sciences preferred.
• 2+ years of business development experience in pharma or equivalent in banking/VC/consulting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate acquisition, in-license, and out-license opportunities and present recommendations to senior management.
• Lead due diligence, negotiation, and deal structuring; interact with executives internally and externally.
• Prepare and present robust financial models and commercial scenarios for BD opportunities.
• Develop compelling presentations for BD initiatives to senior management and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Research, Product Development, Clinical Development, Regulatory, CMC, Sales & Marketing, and Legal.
• Maintain expertise in BD data sources and market landscape.
