Job description

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a Senior Business Development Liaison to join our team remotely from Houston, TX.

Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain strong relationships with referring physicians and medical practices.
  2. Serve as a trusted advisor for physicians, providing information about the facility, services, and capabilities.
  3. Visit physician offices regularly to build rapport and address concerns.
  4. Promote the organization's services to increase patient referrals.
  5. Identify strategic opportunities to grow referrals.
  6. Work with physicians to optimize the referral process.
  7. Develop and execute outreach strategies, including events, presentations, and written materials.
  8. Respond promptly and professionally to physician inquiries.
  9. Facilitate effective communication between the organization and physicians.
  10. Analyze referral data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  11. Report referral performance and key metrics to management.
  12. Contribute to physician relations strategies and initiatives.
  13. Assist in training and onboarding new physician liaisons.
  14. Support operational, project, or departmental goals as needed.
  15. Travel within the assigned region is required.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, communications, or related field.
  2. At least 5 years of experience in physician relations, healthcare marketing, or business development.
  3. Minimum of 5 years working with hospitals, medical groups, or health systems.
  4. At least 5 years managing referral development and outreach strategies.
  5. Strong ability to analyze referral trends and market data.
