Qualifications

• Proven experience selling mechanical construction services (HVAC, plumbing, piping or related).
• Demonstrated ability to generate new business and grow client relationships.
• Existing network of industry contacts within the Minneapolis construction market preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction projects and procurement processes.
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for business development.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify, pursue, and secure new mechanical construction opportunities throughout the Minneapolis market.
• Build and maintain relationships with owners, general contractors, developers, engineers, and key decision-makers.
• Leverage an existing book of business to generate revenue and expand the client base.
• Develop strategic growth plans for target markets and customers.
• Collaborate with estimating, pre-construction, and operations to support project pursuits.
• Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings.
• Create and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Consistently achieve and exceed sales and gross profit targets.
