Job summary

Hargrove Engineers & Constructors is seeking a results-driven Business Development professional in Houston to drive growth by identifying opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and leading proposal efforts. You will work with leadership to define strategic goals and build a robust pipeline in a dynamic market.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in BD/sales within engineering services, strong networking and presentation skills, and a proven track record of closing deals with key decision

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Business Development/Sales.
• Experience selling for an EPC firm or industrial/engineering services is preferred.
• Strong communication, presentation, and networking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling and other means of generating interest from potential clients.
• Cold call as appropriate within market to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.
• Identify potential clients and the decision makers within client organizations.
• Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Set up meetings between client decision makers and Hargrove Leaders.
• Develop proposals and help lead pricing of solutions for clients.
• Present a professional image reflecting client needs and our capabilities.
• Attend industry events to gather market feedback and trends.
