Job summary

CFS is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our well-established law firm in Columbus, OH onsite. You will develop and execute strategic marketing and business development plans for practice groups, industries, and attorneys, partnering with leadership to drive growth.

You will drive client development, manage proposals and RFP responses, advise attorneys on market positioning, and lead visibility initiatives to enhance rankings and thought leadership across multiple

Qualifications

7+ years of marketing and business development experience, preferably within professional services.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field.
Strong experience with proposals, client development, strategic planning, and relationship management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute business development plans for practice groups, industries, and attorneys.
Advise attorneys on client development strategies, growth opportunities, and market positioning.
Lead proposal, RFP, and qualification response efforts, including customized content development.
Analyze client feedback and identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships.
Oversee attorney visibility initiatives, speaking engagements, rankings, awards, and thought leadership efforts.
Track market trends, competitor activity, and business development results to inform strategy.
