We are seeking a Capital Formation / Business Development Professional (Senior Associate or VP, depending on experience level) focused on capital raising for our investments across the globe in private equity and private credit. You will work with the Managing Partner and Team to grow our investor base with qualified ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, and institutional investors, raising capital for a series of funds and co-investments that will be deployed in our Impact Investments.

This role can be based anywhere in the US, with a preference for major metropolitan areas. Given the location of our existing and prospective investor set, the following cities are preferred - Dallas, Atlanta, New York, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, or San Francisco.

Specifically, you will

  • Initiate, coordinate and lead investor calls and meetings with a focus on relationship building, excellent investor/client service, and closing on new capital commitments
  • Respond to investor queries, quarterbacking requests with key Creation staff for follow up
  • Build and cultivate existing investor relationships, creating and maintaining systems to track contacts and manage customers across our various investor types
  • Participate in organizing investor due diligence, subscriptions, and closings
  • Ensure consistent standards for all material and in all external communications
  • Assist in marketing and brand building with the IR team, including strategy, press releases, deal announcements, social media and Linkedin coverage
  • Communicate and share performance data to limited partners and authorized third parties quarterly
  • Contribute to the creation of materials andcollateral for current and prospective investorsincluding reports, updates,and presentations
  • Identify and build a network of UHNW, RIA and institutional investor relationships as a foundation for future capital raises
  • Travel routinely to investor meetings and attend networking events on behalf of the firm

Professional Qualifications:

  • 3 to 10 years of experience
  • Private wealth / UHNW experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with amazing follow up and organizational skills
  • Ability to learn quickly; deep interest in investments and impact / sustainability
  • Work both independently and as part of a team
  • High EQ with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize deliverables, and manage and meet tight deadlines
  • Service-oriented, pro-active, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Passion for developing strong relationships with existing clients and prospects
  • Undergraduate degree with demonstrated academic excellence and curiosity
  • Office365 Skills (including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word)
  • Flexible and willing to pitch in wherever needed
  • Great personality and sense of humor
