Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Business Banking Underwriter III to underwrite Business Banking loans, evaluate creditworthiness, and ensure compliance with lending policy.

You will review financials, manage a pipeline up to $4MM, apply single approval authority up to $3MM, mentor new hires, and support the line of business. Office-based with flexible work arrangements; compensation ranges from $70,000 to $140,000 with benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years’ experience with business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environment
• Proven track record to support high levels of loan volume
• Ability to underwrite credit exposures in excess of $2.5MM

Responsibilities

• Underwrite Business Banking loans to determine credit worthiness and compliance with lending policy
• Maintain an individual pipeline of work to support production
• Review financial and credit information to make sound credit decisions (up to $4MM loans)
• Utilize single approval authority up to $3MM
• Assist with training and mentoring new hires and supporting UW job families
• Provide support for the UWI & UW II job families as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the line of business.
