Job summary

Huntington Bancshares, Inc. is seeking a Business Banking Underwriter IV to underwrite Business Banking loans and ensure compliance with lending policy.

The role involves managing a pipeline, evaluating financial data, and applying risk assessment for loans up to $10MM. The position requires a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years’ underwriting experience in a centralized lending environment, with leadership responsibilities and the ability to approve credits up to $4MM.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience with business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains an individual pipeline of work to support Business Banking production.
• Reviews financial and credit information to make sound credit decisions on complex loans up to $10MM.
• Uses single approval authority up to $4MM.
• Assesses risk profile of borrowers.
• Assists with training and mentoring new hires and supports other UW job families as needed.
• Collaborates with credit and segment risk to meet department goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
