Chase is seeking a Senior Business Relationship Manager in its Business Banking unit to manage a portfolio of large, profitable clients and provide tailored financial advice with a high-touch service approach.

The role emphasizes growth, deposit activity, and risk management, with cross-functional collaboration to deepen relationships and expand primary banking share across mid-market businesses.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Banking Relationship Management role or related business lending experience.
• Strong knowledge of deposit/cash management products and knowledge of business credit underwriting with commercial credit training.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate clients’ issues, own problems on clients’ behalf, and follow through with commitments.
• Demonstrates strong tactical business development and negotiation skills; self-directed, proactive, and creative; uses sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done.

Responsabilités

• Acquire, retain, and deepen a portfolio of approximately 70 business clients across stable/mature and growth/expansion stages, with annual revenue greater than $3MM+ provide business deposit and cash management solutions and manage business credit opportunities up to approximately $15MM; provide support to branch-based bankers on sizeable business credit deals as needed
• Deliver an outstanding experience to Chase business clients by providing customized business banking solutions aligned to their needs, using expertise in business, finance, credit, and risk management to recommend profitable portfolio solutions and proactively anticipate needs through market and industry monitoring.
• Grow the portfolio by prospecting for new clients (especially expanding businesses) and leveraging centers of influence and referral networks - partnering across Branch, Wealth Management, Private Bank, Asset & Wealth Management, Middle Market, and One Chase to originate opportunities and build long-term primary banking relationships.
• Regularly conduct in-person visits with existing clients, prospects, referrals, and centers of influence at their places of business, looking for ways to develop the full financial relationship and increase primary bank share
• Understand the personal financial goals and needs of the owner(s); utilize knowledge of personal banking products and partner with Branch, Wealth Management, and Private Bank to identify and deliver appropriate personal financial solutions
• Utilize knowledge of treasury products and partner with product specialists to onboard clients seamlessly and ensure end-to-end delivery of new accounts and the full suite of products and services; leverage service teams to deliver an outstanding experience and follow up after account opening to determine additional solutions and establish digital capabilities
• Protect the firm by following sound risk management protocols and control policies and adhering to regulatory requirements
