Job summary

WECU in Bellingham, WA is seeking a Business Banking Loan Processor/Servicer to join our Business Banking team. The role handles processing and servicing of commercial loans, including SBA and participated loans, with minimal supervision.

You will coordinate with loan officers, title companies, appraisers, and other vendors; prepare loan docs; ensure lien perfection; monitor insurance and tax requirements; and help maintain compliance with BSA/AML/CIP.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years prior loan experience including commercial loan processing and servicing.
• Proven ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Interact with loan officers, members, appraisers, title companies and vendors to request and follow up on documentation for processing and servicing.
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness; ensure proper lien perfection and title clearance.
• Prepare loan documentation for closing and set up loans in the loan system.
