Job summary

The Business Banking Closing Specialist Sr. works in Columbus, OH to coordinate the loan closing process with Relationship Managers, Borrowers, Sellers, Attorneys, Brokers, EROs, Underwriters, Closers, Title Companies and the banking Markets to collect due diligence and promote the loan closing process.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Strong detail orientation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates interaction between all parties within the loan closing SLA of 30-45 days.
• Prepares the more difficult loan commitment letters and application documents.
• Responsible for initial compliance and preparing the loan commitment package.
• Reviews other Client Specialists’ commitment letters for accuracy.
• Schedules closing and arranges the distribution of documents.
• Mentors less experienced Loan Specialists.
