Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Dallas seeks a skilled Business Applications Advisor to lead configuration, deployment, and optimization of warehouse and transport systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement Manhattan WMOS, OMS, and TMS workflows, and deliver analytics dashboards for KPI insight.

The role requires strong problem-solving, excellent communication, and the ability to work across distributed teams. Travel and on-call support are expected as projects evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, IS, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience supporting or implementing Manhattan WMOS WMS systems preferred.
• Strong problem-solving to ensure business operations meet SLAs.
• Clear communication in distributed teams with proactive updates.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, both technical and operational.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux servers and Oracle SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sterling WMS — Support, configure, and troubleshoot warehouse workflows and integrations across receiving, picking, replenishment, and shipping.
• OMS — Configure and support sourcing, allocation, order routing, and exception-handling rules across the full order lifecycle.
• TMS — Configure and maintain carrier selection, rate management, tendering, and shipment execution workflows.
• Analytics & Reporting — Build interactive Spotfire and Power BI dashboards for KPI tracking and executive reporting.
• Hands-on configuration of Manhattan WMOS WMS systems.
• Participate in all phases of implementation and production support of multi-technology systems.
• Gather requirements and design accurate, efficient solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of interface specifications and configuration options.
