Job summary

PNC is seeking a Senior Business Analytics Consultant in its Regulatory Reporting organization. The role partners with Finance, Risk, Data, and Technology to ensure accurate, complete and compliant regulatory submissions.

You will analyze reporting requirements, validate data, and support strategic change initiatives. The position requires strong SQL and data-analysis skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication to translate complex requirements into actionable specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in business analysis, data analysis, testing, reconciliation, or regulatory reporting within a financial services environment.
• Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools used to validate and investigate reporting data.
• Understanding of data lineage, source-to-target mappings, and data governance concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience evaluating data quality issues, conducting investigations, and documenting findings.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyze regulatory reporting requirements and ensure accuracy, completeness and conformance of submissions.
• Perform data analysis, reconciliations, and variance investigations to identify reporting issues.
• Assess impact of regulatory, business, and system changes on reporting processes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate requirements into data and reporting specs.
• Support end-to-end validation and testing strategies for regulatory reports.
• Document data lineage, mappings, controls, and process flows for audit and governance.
• Assist in governance efforts to strengthen data quality and reporting controls.
