Job summary

PNC is seeking a Business Analytics Consultant Senior within its Regulatory Reporting organization, with the option to be based in Pittsburgh or Cleveland. You will support data validation, governance, and change initiatives to ensure accurate regulatory submissions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Finance, Risk, Technology, and Data Management teams, delivering controlled data and reporting improvements across multiple regulatory filings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in business analysis, data analysis, testing, reconciliation, or regulatory reporting within a financial services environment.
• Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools used to validate and investigate reporting data.
• Understanding of data lineage, source-to-target mappings, and data governance concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience evaluating data quality issues, conducting investigations, and documenting findings.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear and actionable documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with business and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.
• Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
• Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
• Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solutions for business leadership to enable data driven decision making.
• Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
