Job summary

Harvard University - Graduate School of Design (GSD) is seeking an experienced Registrar Operations professional to manage registrar functions within my.harvard, oversee student records, billing, and enrollment processes, and coordinate with admissions and other Harvard Schools.

The role includes maintaining transcripts, processing enrollment letters, advising on Leaves of Absence, and ensuring timely data reporting to support academic affairs and student services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible registrar experience.
• Experience with SQL for querying and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversees registration by developing, executing, documenting, and evaluating policies and procedures.
• Ensures that academic policies and procedures are enforced, and proper records are maintained.
• Manages the ID Card Distribution Process.
• Handles transcripts with Parchment and processes enrollment verification letters.
• Acts as primary contact with the National Student Clearinghouse and manages degree verifications.
• Counsels students on Leave of Absence procedures and updates records accordingly.
• Facilitates migration of incoming students to the my.harvard system and communicates processes for Harvard Key and GSD Email addresses.
