FIS in the United States is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our Securities Processing division. You will work with product managers, development and QA teams throughout the software life cycle to analyze requirements and ensure clear communication to stakeholders.

The role emphasizes nailing feature definitions, documenting use cases and acceptance criteria, and collaborating across services to support clients in back-office securities operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial services as BA or product owner in back-office securities.
• Experience with North American market infrastructures (DTC, CDS, NSCC, FICC, BONY, FED).
• Knowledge of securities industry flows; SWIFT MT/MX messaging in trading clearing and settlement.
• Ability to read and interpret interface specifications.
• Ability to translate industry initiatives into detailed requirements.
• Proven ability to research and document scope and business requirements.
• Strong presentation and product demonstration skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills; manage multiple priorities.
• Reliable, self-motivated and dependable.
• Strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product owner, Development and test teams to analyze and communicate solutions.
• Identify and analyze impact of new product features.
• Liaise with internal teams to capture cross requirements.
• Produce change documentation: use cases, acceptance criteria, specifications.
• Create and update product feature specifications.
• Coordinate with Professional services and Implementations teams.
• Participate in Business Process Reviews for clients.
